Greater Frankston Business Awards Finalists Announced at the inaugural Business Breakfast held at Sandhurst Club on January 30 2019.



We are disappointed that the below is required but transparency is a value we hold so we hope this assists with any questions you may have. Our Founder has requested an urgent direct meeting with the Mayor and CEO of Frankston City Council that is not yet confirmed as pending their availability and acceptance of urgent meeting request made.

We look forward to seeing all nominees next week at the Business Breakfast event where finalists will be announced along with marketing masterclass for those attending to drive their marketing to the next level.

Council has received a number of enquiries from businesses that have been contacted or have received an invoice in relation to a program and an event called the Frankston Business Awards.

Frankston City Mayor, Councillor Michael O’Reilly said, “Council wishes to inform residents and business owners that it has no affiliation with the Frankston Business Awards.   

“In addition, Council is not sponsoring these awards or sending out any promotional or membership material for this event,” said the Mayor.

Any person or business owner who has any questions regarding this awards program is advised to contact the event organiser directly, or alternatively report any complaints to the appropriate authorities, not to Council.

Frankston Business Awards again wishes to take this opportunity to advise that this is a private company event and at no time were claims or any communications that could be deemed to be alluding to that Frankston City Council were actively involved.

Additionally, thank you to those that have provided the information regarding where this and other negative attempts to the brand initiated from, we will take any steps regarding this information provided as appropriate.

The Frankston Business Awards team are proud to announce that on behalf of every application received from local businesses, we will be donating a much needed contribution to the incredible team at Donation Chain Inc.


Donation Chain Inc. are driven by their mission to meet the basic hygiene needs of homeless people in the community & provide a safe place for them to reconnect with the greater community during times of crisis. Over the last two and a half years alone 


Donation Chain Inc. have provided over 45,000 toiletries to those in need across the Frankston and surrounding region.

As with any Charity they are in need of donations from the community to survive and we are proud to provide this platform of support and local awareness to them.
